The purpose is, to close the discharge point, as in practical occasions the discharge point could act like an inlet, in case the external water level becomes higher than the internal water level. In such situation, back flow is obvious. It is applied to discard the possibility of this back flow. There is another purpose, to control the outflow of the discharge, thereby controlling the pollution. Allows three side sealing and absolute zero leakage could be guaranteed.
Thimble Mounted Sluice Gate constituted by mainly two parts. The Thimble and the Main Sluice. The Thimble part is for the installation in the window space at the wall and the Main Gate is installed with The Thimble. For future replacement, it is much easier to handle, as there is no extensive civil work involved. Just the Sluice Gate part could be replaced without disturbing the already installed Thimble within the civil construction. Allows four side sealing and absolute zero leakage could be guaranteed.
Being an important part of a centrifugal pump, foot valves come with easily manageable features. Most foot valves are designed with a spring to ensure quick sealing and valve reaction; and flexibility to fit various types of water pump use. It comes with inbuilt strainers to avoid volatile organic compounds sampling and purging. Although they are cheaper to use, as compared to other valves used to prime a pump, foot valves are usually made up of heavy duty cast iron and bronze, so that they will last longer while submerged in the water. Options for Screwed End Connection as well as Flanged End Connection.
1. Outside Screwed Rising Spindle Gate Valves.
2. Inside Screwed Non Rising Spindle Gate Valves.
Gate valves are actuated by a threaded stem that connects the actuator (e.g. handwheel or motor) to the gate. They are characterised as having either a rising or a non rising stem, depending on which end of the stem is threaded.
